I am now talking to your spiritual senses... standing at your door
knocking with my wisdom at your heart or belief
for admittance.

These writings are presented in collected "pieces"
as he - Phineas Parkhurst Quimby - called them,
and they need not be read in any order.

The Phineas Parkhurst Quimby Philosophical Society
has presented the pieces here
in order of subject matter.

The words, themselves, are Dr. Quimby's.

THE COLLECTED WORKS of

PHINEAS PARKHURST QUIMBY

IN ORDER OF SUBJECT MATTER

as presented on this website
are Phineas Quimby's words
and are meant to
bring out
the beauty, poetry,
healing and power
in Dr. Quimby's
writings,
without changing his words.

§

There is just as much progress
in the spiritual
as in the natural world,
and the Science I teach
is the wisdom of God
to the senses
in the spirit world.

So it requires a teacher
to teach the wisdom of God
in the spirit world,
as well as that spiritual wisdom
that has been reduced to man's senses
in the so-called “sciences.”

Paul says,
"How shall they believe in him
of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear
without a preacher?
And how shall they teach
unless they be sent
(or understand how to teach)?”

I am now talking to your spiritual senses
standing at your door
knocking with my wisdom at your heart
(or belief)
for admittance.

If you can understand
then I will come in
and drink this truth with you
and you with me.

This is the spiritual world (or senses).

Suppose you are sick
and feel you need a physician
then is the time you
in your spirit
will call on me
(or my spirit)
and when I come
if you know my voice
(or understand)
you will open the door.

And when you do understand
I am with you.
